The Hiroshima Lexical Research Forum is a group for vocabulary researchers to share and present ideas. Our members range from world-renowned experts to beginning PhD students. We are based in Hiroshima, but our members are all over the world in New Zealand, Germany, France, and the UK. We provide a supportive and rigorous environment to help all from early-career to long in the tooth researchers.

Since the beginning of covid, we have held an annual H-LRF conference. The H-LRF conference began in person, but we have since moved online. The online H-LRF conference takes place each summer and lasts three days. We have been fortunate to hear from some prestigious keynote talks, ground-breaking and cutting-edge research. Our main aim is to support early-career researchers and PhD students with our world experts!
